Most of the programs in this folder work only if you have an Internet account — not just an America Online account, but a regular, $20-a-month-type account with an “ISP” (Internet Service Provider) company. (Some national examples are NetCom, PSI, EarthLink, or any company you chose with Apple’s Internet Connection Kit.)

  8. Since the Internet Connection Kit probably came with your Power Mac, we thought you might enjoy some of these Internet and World Wide Web-enhancing utilities.

  10. Remember that some of these are “shareware”: limited versions are included on your CD, but if you pay the small requested fee (usually about $15), the author will mail you the complete, unlimited version of the program.
